Overview

We are excited to announce the release of TopTeam Requirements v25.50! This major update introduces cutting-edge AI integration through Model Context Protocol (MCP), gives review managers greater governance over approval cycles, and brings interactive diagramming across your entire workspace.

Here are the top highlights in v25.50:

1. Query Requirements in Plain English with Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Connect your favorite AI assistants (such as Claude Desktop, Gemini AI Studio etc) directly to your TopTeam repository. With read-only, permission-aware access, team members can ask natural-language questions—such as identifying requirements lacking test coverage—without compromising data security.

2. Streamlined Review Governance

Review owners now have greater flexibility and authority during approval cycles:

    • Reference-Only Records: Attach background documents to reviews for context without requiring stakeholders to submit an approval verdict.
    • Force Close Reviews: Close stalled reviews while preserving already recorded verdicts and marking pending approvals as "Abstained."

3. Interactive Diagrams across Documents & Reviews

Visual modeling gets a major upgrade across the platform. Diagram connectors now attach intelligently and adjust automatically when shapes resize. Plus, embedded diagrams in OneView Documents, Reviews, and Wikis are now fully interactive—hover to inspect record details or click to edit immediately.

Additional Highlights at a Glance

    • Quick Search: Search across multiple projects by ID or keyword directly inside the Quick Explorer.
    • Enhanced AI Authoring: Draft test cases directly from the Detail Editor and analyze Use Cases with the AI Quality Advisor.
    • Web-Based Administration: Manage OneView stylesheets and user project access entirely within the web application.
    • Traceability & Issues: Visually trace relationships in the Derivation Editor and monitor open issue counts directly on list and tree editors.
