This release brings a powerful set of capabilities designed to help engineering teams formalize change control, strengthen baseline governance, and improve cross-team collaboration — all while keeping usability at the forefront.

Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
Change is inevitable — now it's controllable. The new ECR framework brings structure and traceability to every change request. Track proposals, assess impacts, route them for approval, and safely implement in branches — all with complete audit trails.
Stay compliant, accountable, and in control of every change.
- Organized Change Management (ECR Packages): ECRs are grouped within ECR Packages, acting as containers for related changes.
- Formal Change Proposals (ECRs): Each ECR artifact captures the purpose, rationale, and impact of the proposed change.
- Document Impacts (Change Request Impacts/CRIs): Use CRIs to associate ECRs with impacted Requirements, Test Cases, and other artifacts, making it easier to assess the change impact.
- Populate Downstream Impacts: Automatically identify and populate all downstream artifacts potentially affected by a change using the Populate Impacts Wizard.
- Controlled Review & Approval: Route ECR Packages through structured Review Gates and approval workflows to ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Safe Implementation via Branching: Safely implement approved changes in an isolated branch. You can choose a Sparse branch (including only impacted records) or a Complete branch (including all records of the project).
- Full Audit Trail: All decisions, actions, approvals, and changes are recorded, supporting compliance and traceability.
OneView Documents
Baselines now come with formal digital sign-offs. Stakeholders can sign approved baselines, and mark significant ones for audit-ready documentation.
One click to turn baselines into official, signed records.
- A new Send Baseline for Signing wizard provides a step-by-step interface for requesting signatures.
- A new Pending Signing Requests section is available in the Review Inbox to easily locate and respond to signing requests.
- Approving a request requires a digital signature (password).
- A detailed Signing History is available, grouped by baseline and OneView Document.
- Baselines can be marked as Significant (indicated by a star icon), confirming the contents are stable, authoritative, and ready for reference in audits, compliance, or downstream work.
Send Artifacts from OneView Baseline for Review: You can now send artifacts from an existing Baseline when initiating a OneView for Review. This ensures the correct versions are shared.
Generate Test Cases from Use Case Scenarios
Turn your Use Case scenarios into Test Cases instantly — right from the Web App. Save hours of manual effort and keep your QA in perfect sync with requirements.
Test Execution Dashboard in Test Suite Editor
Visualize Quality Assurance progress in real time. The new Test Execution Dashboard shows test results, defect trends, and run summaries — giving teams a clear view of quality status at a glance.
- Displays a quick summary of defects and Test Results for each Test Run for a Test Suite.
- Allows filtering which Test Runs are displayed in the chart and supports sharing the dashboard
