Key Enhancements & Changes
We've focused on refining existing functionalities to make your daily tasks even easier:
- Rich Text Editor Enhancements:
- Format Painter: A new Format Painter tool allows you to copy and apply text formatting(font, size, color, bold, italic) from one text section to another. This works similarly to the Format Painter in applications like Microsoft Word, streamlining consistent formatting across rich text content.
- Streamlines consistent formatting across your rich text content, saving time and improving document professionalism.
- Table Cell Height: You can now specify the height of table cells, giving you better control over layout and spacing in structured content. This also resolves a previous issue where row height couldn't be adjusted manually.
- Offers greater flexibility in designing and presenting information within tables, ensuring content fits perfectly.
- Ordered List Label Renaming: To improve clarity, the ordered list option previously labeled Default has been renamed to 'Default (numeric)'.
- Improves clarity by making the numbering style explicitly clear, reducing potential confusion.
Traceability Coverage Matrix – Field Sorting:
- You can now configure how data is sorted from the second level onward in the Traceability Coverage Matrix using the enhanced Display Options. The sorting configurator allows you to rearrange the order of fields to define sorting priority, specify whether each field should be sorted in ascending or descending order, and remove a field from the configuration. Once applied, the data is sorted accordingly, and an indicator appears on the respective column headers to reflect the active sort order. You can also apply quick sortingdirectly by clicking on the header of any sortable column.
- Enables more precise and customized data analysis within your traceability matrices, allowing you to quickly find and understand relationships.
Multi-Level Traceability Report – Extended Filtering Options:
- The Multi-Level Traceability Report now includes improved filtering controls to generate more focused and relevant results. You can filter by master/root-level record types, specify record types at each trace level, and filter by link type, ensuring the report reflects exactly the records and relationships you want to analyze.
- Generate highly targeted reports that reflect exactly the records and relationships you want to analyze, leading to deeper and more relevant insights.
Configurable Permalink Viewer Setting:
- A new global setting called Default Record Permalink Viewer (under General Settings) lets you configure whether artifacts open in Quick Record Preview or Detailed Record View when accessed through permalinks. Previously, artifacts opened in Quick Mode via permalink, which loaded faster but had limited functionality (e.g., comments not visible/editable, linked artifacts to shapes in a diagram could not be opened, editing artifacts).
- Quick Record Preview: Opens faster with minimal content.
- Detailed Record View: Loads slower but shows linked artifacts, shape details, comments, etc.. Recommended when users need full context and editing capabilities.
- Offers users control over how diagrams and artifacts are accessed via permalinks, balancing speed for quick checks with comprehensive detail for deeper work.
- Note: This feature requires a database upgrade to v23.10.
Azure DevOps – Project URL Handling in Synchronization Schedule:
- Credential profiles for Azure DevOps are now saved using only the organization URL, instead of the full project-specific URL. This allows the same credential profile to be reused across multiple projects within the same organization. The project URL is now entered separatelyin the Project Mapping Schedule wizard, improving clarity and reducing redundant credential entries.
- Streamlines the synchronization setup for Azure DevOps, improving clarity and reducing redundant credential entries when working with multiple projects within the same organization.

We've also addressed several issues to ensure a more robust and reliable experience.
